2004

This year so far has been quite mundane. After all the excitement of last year 2004 has really been quiet.

Just before New Year we celebrated Josh's 30th Birthday. Was a great party and Phill was as flirty as usual. Plenty of photos here.

A sore subject, but due to the lack of leave available to Andrew the boys has only managed one week off, and not due another until September. However they did get away to Sitges for a week and had a fabulous time, and met many new people. Pictures will be available soon.

2003

Well, it's been a while since this page was updated, so here is a potted history of 2003.

The beginning of the year was mostly taken up with buying a house. There were plenty of ups and downs as I'm sure anyone who has bought and sold property will know. Deadlines moved, problems occur and people get twitchy. It all worked out well in the end and we moved into our lovely new house at the end of March. We love the house and it's really good to have a garden. Phill likes to play Alan Tichmarsh, and Andrew just mows the lawn.

Back in February we appeared on the Graham Norton Show. You can see the clips here. It was bit of a laugh, and amazingly we won a trip to Brussels on the Eurostar. We went on the trip April, and you can see a few dodgy pics here. Whilst traveling first class to the Belgium capital Andrew read an article in the newspaper that Concorde was due to cease flying by the end of the year. With far too much champagne consumed, Andrew decided it would be a good idea to fly to NYC supersonic.

June came around, Andrew had a great birthday by having a day trip to London with Phill, and friends Josh and Michelle. It was like being at school again as we all ended up going round museums (but unlike school, ended up in the pub afterwards!). However, as a birthday treat to himself, Andrew flew to New York on Concorde and got absolutely plastered on expensive vintage champagne, washed down with finest caviare. Andrew had a great few days shopping in a very wet NY before returning home subsonic. There are a few photos here of the Concorde journey, and some more here of the time in New York.

The rest of the year kind of trickled past until the week before Phill's birthday in November. Drunk at a neighbours party we decided it would be good fun if we went to New York (there is a running theme!!). It also seemed a good idea as Josh was going too with his house mates. As it turned out we were all in NYC for a few days and had a great time getting legless with Josh to celebrate Phill's birthday. It did seem a bit strange being there with him, but so much fun.

Finally, December brought a new playmate to the Bloomsburyboyz in the shape of a new car named Tizzy. She is well loved and looked after.

November 2002

Oh dear. It's been quite a while since this page has been updated. Time and life has just slipped by.

In June Andrew celebrated his birthday. Phill arranged a surprise evening, which Andrew was worried about - i.e. what had they planned? As it turns out the surprise was a lovely night out in Soho with Phill, Mike, Josh and Michelle. We were whipped upto town in the Star Cruiser limo thing, a fair few drinkies, a meal and clubbing at G.A.Y. Fabulous evening.

It has been a busy second half of the year. Having worked almost non stop for the first half of the year meant loads of time off the rest of it. So when friend Davin said he wanted to go away on holiday in July for a week, how could we refuse. So off we went to Gran Canaria and had a week of non stop drinking, clubbing and lazing around in the sunshine. How awful!

Went camping in the Alps, France, for a couple of weeks. Was the back end of August and the weather was a bit hit and miss. We had a fantastic time, except Phill had given up smoking upon our return from Gran Canaria, and was a bit scratchy about being away and a nonsmoker. He survived. Andrew managed to slip in some white water rafting, rock climbing and parapenting. Phill just looked on determined to keep his feet on firm ground.

However, Phill did manage to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower this time. When we went to Paris in February he only went to stage 2, but this time he made it to the top. Brave boy.

So how did Andrew top the birthday surprise Phill sprung on him back in June. With complete deviousness (is that a word?) Andrew faked his work rotas so Phill wouldn't know he was off on his birthday, sorted out Phill some leave from his work and told him the day before to pack a bag. Wasn't until we got to Heathrow Phill realised we were flying somewhere, and wasn't until we checked in he realised it was New York.

We had a lovely few days there, did all the usual touristy stuff - Empire State Building, Macy's, Ground Zero, UN, Central Park etc. Even found a gay bar in the Chelsea area that seemed a bit tacky, until we got plastered, all became good then !!!!!!!

Well, that's it for now. Got Christmas to look forward to (all those presents to buy - arghhh) and New Year...... don't think we'll be squeezing four foreign holidays out of next year!! Ta ta.

May 2002

Time for another update? Maybe not because I can't think of anything to say.

First things first. Please, please, please SIGN OUR GUESTBOOK. Thank you.

Life is still racing past at 900 MPH. Gosh, we'll be leaving our teenage years behind us soon. Stop laughing !!!!!! We celebrated 6 years together recently. A few of our closest friends shipped us off in a limo to dinner and then onto a casino. It was a brilliant night and thanks to Josh, Michelle and Mike for organising the night. Some picturers here.

Phill has just had his hair cut really short. It looks much better, but Phill is a little disappointed that he doesn't get looked at so much when he's out and about. You know, the 'Is that Gary Rhodes?' look.

We got the DVD of 'Moulin Rouge' a few weeks ago. We didn't get to see it at the cinema when it was first released. What a fantastic film, we've watched it a few times now and regularly have the soundtrack running in the background. Talking of films, so many friends have said 'Bridget Jones Diary' is an excellent film. Imagine our disappointment when a few friends came round to see the film. Terrible film that does not do justice to the book - which is so funny.

Still in the process of putting together the video of the Lanzarote holiday. More or less finished, but things have been done a little back-to-front and very slowly writing the script. Maybe there will be a clip on here soon.

Well, that's all for now readers. Sorry for boring you, but can't really think of anything constructive to write. Any ideas? Bye for now.

January 2002

Happy New Year surfers.

We had a fantastic Christmas this year. For once Andrew had the day off, so we invited Andrew's family, and friends Mike and Josh around for Christmas lunch. Andrew did the cooking, and guess what.....? It was fantastic. We also got some fantastic presents from all our friends and family, so thank you all very much.

Well, it has been the season of going down the pub and spending days in drunken hazes. More evenings in the pub. Oh well. Anyway, Andrew has decided to not go down the pub so much this year, but typically Phill wants to spend every weekend propped up against the bar chatting up almost anything in a pair of trousers.

Andrew is starting to get his head around Dreamweaver software for creating web pages. But he reports there is still a long way to go. He has also stated his hate of computers. They never seem to be happy unless they are causing grief to their owners. Bit like boyfriends really - lol.

Oh, the CD cover on the frontpage. Phill came across the CD when putting away the Christmas decorations and insisted it was put on the site. Not that Phill is vane of course.

Well, that's it for now shoppers. I guess we'll have another little update in about ten years time.

September 2001

Well, here we go with another new feature. Why? Well because Phill's Internet friend Paul (from up north somewhere) has been pestering us to update the site. So here goes.....

Nothing much so far this month. The usual routine of working, and popping down to the Elm Tree pub at the weekends. As usual there is always a story to tell following a visit to the pub, and usually involves Phill snogging someone.

The webcam is currently broken, well the software anyway. I must of misconfigured it whilst in a drunken state. But with complete vanity I managed to get some pictures of myself taken. The results are in Gallery 4. Sorry if you need a sick bucket, but they are about as good as you are going to get with me. I'll get Phill to pose for a few soon.

Well, I decided to ditch my old web creation page and use Dreamweaver...... Blimey, talk about hard work. I only wanted to do simple things and it has turned out to be a nightmare. Oh well, I guess I'll get used to it...... eventually!

Andrew
